Middlesex County is blessed with a wonderful geographic location that has provided its inhabitants, since its founding, with important life amenities. Today as in 1670, the county has a land area of 132 square miles and 135 miles of shoreline. Throughout the centuries, this shoreline has provided shelter, sustenance, employment, and enjoyment to thousands of people who have benefited from the water meeting the land.
